If you cannot enter Service Mode or your model does not support it, <strong>disconnect the battery cable<\/strong> once the base cover is off, then press and hold the power button for <strong>five seconds<\/strong> to drain flea power.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SIM\/microSD:<\/strong> Remove the SIM-card tray (if fitted), and ensure there is no microSD card installed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BIOS note:<\/strong> Removing the battery resets BIOS setup settings to default. Acknowledge any BIOS message about a battery change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Optional calibration:<\/strong> Charge to 100% and keep plugged in for ~30 minutes, then use on battery down to ~10\u201315% and recharge to full once.
