Great ac power brick.

I carry my laptop to and from work and was very dismayed to find the cord missing when I arrived home one day. I worried that it would be difficult and time consuming to find a cord to power my computer but I typed in the model number and got this one. Delivered fast.

Solved the charging problem.

Thought the DC power port on my laptop might have been bad. Turns out it was indeed just the adapter. The original one that came with my laptop was about 2 years old. I had to push it in really hard and sometimes pull it out a little to get it to make contact so that the laptop would charge. This one actually clicks into place and works 100% when inserting . So once it is inserted all the way it has a nice click to it and doesn't have any play. There is this cylindrical structure to the plastic just behind the power adapter's conductors that meets up with the laptop jack's frame such that it relieves the stress from the internal pin of the jack itself. Not a bad design for a laptop power jack. I have seen better designs in other laptops, but this certainly is a reasonable way to make a reliable jack that won't break (I would rather replace a power adapter every couple years than service the laptop's power port).

The original charger I came with the laptop stopped working correctly.(it charges my device for a about 10 seconds, then stops for about 10 seconds, then works again, etc. ) This adapter works with my device without any issues. I am very happy with it. Will update if any issues.

My original ac adapter got lost and I was freaking out. I needed a new adapter but laptop ac adapter in local stores are pretty expensive for some reasons. At least the good quality ones are.
